The Lyons Den has two separate rooms, the front is a comfortable neighborhood bar, and the back is an award winning live music venue that has entertainment 7 nights a week with a professional stage and sound system. Our kitchen serves great sandwiches and appetizers from open until 1 a.m.
The Lyons Den was voted "Best Live Sound", "Best For A Band To Record Live", and "Most Eclectic Bill", in The Chicago Tribune Friday Section on February 6, 2004.
We were also voted Best Live Music Venue In Chicago by The Chicago Area Music Web-ring in 2000
Our Monday Comedy Open Mic was picked by Chicago Magazine as Number 34 on their December 2003 cover feature "101 Things You Must Do In Chicago".
We are located at 1934 W. Irving Park, just east of the six-corner intersection of Lincoln, Damen, and Irving Park
Hours are 4 P.M. to 2 A.M. Monday through Friday
6 P.M. to 3 A.M. Saturdays
6 P.M. to 2 A.M. Sundays....
